On a related note, see Michael Greger's book Heart Failure - Diary of a Third Year Medical Student. It's a touching and frightening look at how our doctors are trained. Abuse is a cycle -- when med students are belittled by the doctors who teach them, is it any wonder that they become doctors who belittle their patients?
